Imray releases long-awaited new 8th edition of Inland Waterways of France by Mavid Edwards-May

After a number of delayed publication dates, nautical publisher Imray has finally released the long-awaited and updated 8th edition of 'Inland Waterways of France' by David Edwrds-May.

The standard guide to the French canals and navigable rivers includes maps and distance tables for each waterway, giving the user a general view of the geography of each waterway as well as a detailed cockpit reference. The introduction forms a comprehensive general guide to the French waterways, including distances and overall dimensions, formalities, navigation regulations and up-to-date list of hire operators, making inland waterways of France not just an unrivalled reference for planning but also an outstanding cruising guide.

The new edition is now in full colour with redrawn maps and many new photographs.

Imray are set to release a new edition of Brian Navin's well established Cruising Guide to the Netherlands. This 5th edition is a major revision. Throughout the data in the text has been updated and all the plans have been revised to include the latest controlling depths. The author spent some time during 2009 touring the Netherlands, checking information and also taking new photographs which are included in this new edition. The plans and charts have all been updated.

New Imray Digital Charts for 2010

New editions of the award-winning Imray digital charts ID10, ID20, ID30 and ID40 are now available. A new folio has also been added to the series - ID100 Eastern Caribbean.

For 2010 the presentation and registration procedure has been changed.

The digital chart folios are now supplied on USB sticks and instead of purchasing a folio for a calendar year which had disadvantages for those buying the CD late in the season, the registration code provides access to quarterly updates which include any new editions and improvements as well as corrections for a year from the date of registration. In subsequent years existing users will be able to purchase new registration codes at a discount.

Imray Digital Charts are also interfaced with Meridian's Tidal Prediction software which is also now published on USB memory sticks.
